Jaciara - Ecoturism and Adventure

Jaciara is located by the channel of the St. Lawrence River, between the capital city of Cuiaba and Rondonopolis. Cachoeira da Fumaça (Smoke Waterfall) Park

(Crying Cave) Located on Fazenda Vertente, 60 kilometers from downtown , the cave is about 700 meters deep and several sandstone saloons and galleries, inhabiteds by bats and insects. Gruta das Perdidas

The French archaeologists Denis Vialou and Agueda Vilhena Vialou located this archaeological sites in 1984. The rock printings have been dated through carbon 14 between 3.630 and 4.610 years, identifying the area as a Prehistoric Zone.

Cachoeira da Fumaça Spa
Located on the bank of Tenennte Amaral River, it is the end point of the rafting adventure.

Visitors may spend the day here and enjoy the pools of thermal waters.

Cachoeira da Mulata
(Mulatto Woman Fall) Lies 15 kilometers from downtown and propitiates the practice of cascading in the 25-meter drop of the fall. Ideal for beginners. A visit here most be arranged in advance.
